Guest guest Posted August 6, 2001 Report Share Posted August 6, 2001 Man drowns while rafting on Chattahoochee By Channel 2 Action News August 6, 2001 -- Dive teams plan to resume the search within the hour for a man who presumably drowned in the Chattahoochee River over the weekend. Guru Subramani, 27, was rafting with friends Saturday when he tried to swim to shore. Police say his friends saw him go under and tried twice to save him.
