Hello Tony,

One must realize first one's emotions and their source, before one can become

detached from them.. Emotions do arise from attachments. My comment to you was

not based on your emotional comments of life, but rather the enjoyment of

life.... Enjoyment is not an emotion. Rather, it is,just being. Just as love is

not an emotion, but just is. I found your statement of attachment to bliss as

being undesireable... well, rather undesireable.lol... {just kidding}

All emotions aside.... for I do not consider my emotions as part of who I am...

they are and are not part of life... and they are not part of reality.... but

the heightened enjoyment of experiencing bliss in every moment of being... This

for me is joy, love, bliss... that climb up the mountain to experience the

lightness of being. Very preferrable to experiencing emotion...

Yet your idea that experiencing bliss is yet just another attachment to life,

well....... I am here probably for another 50 years.... Let bliss and love reign

in my life..... so it may be shared with all of you....

And as I say this, it does not mean that I still prefer it over those moments of

absolute silence, when all is still in my mind and body and spirit... and I am

quiet within and without... This as well, as everything else we experience is

enjoyable in its own right. And a very peaceful experience.

I guess to sum it up, I feel that we should strive for one thing.... And that is

absolute being..... and in this state, is love and acceptance.

OH well, you know, I probably said all this wrong anyways... lol...and I dont

care.... Know my attempts at expressing my "heart" does not come from emotion,

but the freedom that all is right.... And I'm off to go play now.... The sun is

shining... :))))))

Hugs thru eternity

Lynette

.. If you can observe the sensation before it has absolutely manifested

you can be detached from the result. Any enjoyment creates binding

samskaras hence a return.

Yes, Tony. I understand what you are saying... And this is fine with me. :)))

The full spectrum of BEING does include all experiences... whether we

allow the experience to be felt, or just observed... When one judges

the experience felt as being less desireable than the experience

observed. Then that person has judged themselves as less than or more

than. Kinda tricky, knowing where to draw the line between judgement

of a situation and just allowing a situation... Yet, I think you know

this...

Thanks for allowing me to share some thoughts with you... HUGS love ya

Namaste All,

Instead if answering individually; let me say this. Any experience is

binding if it is not treated in an attached way. Samskaras or Buddhist

Sankaras are always formed.

I am not saying don't interact just be detached and observe the

interaction going on.

I don't know whether emotions release karma or not. I don't think so

and if they do it would be infinitisimal for karma is infinite. We

cannot prune the tree only cut the roots.

Who am I? drives the mind back through the sensations to the source in

the same way as Buddha's meditation of observing and not reacting to

sensation does.

I am not condemning emotion and human love for that is this plane, but

one should observe and not be attached.

As long as one thought exists it bars moksha.

ONS.....Tony.

Listen, Tony:

The words you say may be true,

but how can we possibly take them seriously

when they are coming directly from your butt???

Sincerely,

Kheyala

Namaste Lynette,

All things must happen and be observed. For example 'there is pain',

there is bliss etc. I do not try to enjoy life in an attached way,nor

do I try to enjoy pain. It is all about in it with detachment.

Sensations are just energy that we name various things, they are the

connection between mind and body/body mind. If you can observe the

sensation before it has absolutely manifested you can be detached from

the result. Any enjoyment creates binding samskaras hence a return.

This is why people who have a problem with the Buddhistic or Jnana

path choose Bhakti, so they can channel all the energy and enjoyment

in the direction of the 'beloved god form', until they are

indistinguishable........ONS......Tony.
