Guest guest
There is no need to run after energies and so named kundalini it will not bring liberation from illusion. Kundalini is actually the mind and as Ramana says, who doesn't have it? It has different names that's all. Relatives and absolutes are difficult to discuss. Hello Tony, Yes, words have a way of making it appear that we confused... lol... that we are saying one thing, and in the saying belie we believe it. Running after anything is a waste of energy....Allowing is the key to understanding. I'm unsure of any definition of Kundalini.... I only know by experience of one particular moment when something snapped and changed me, beginning at the base of my spine, extending up thru the chakras... Yes, I believe everybody has it, but is it active in everybody..... Kundalini is a healing process. And like I said, running after anything is a waste of energy. Of course, it is hard to digest that, when running towards something or from something is all we have ever known. Loving you Loving me Love Lynette Soul receives from soul that knowledge, therefore not by book nor from tongue. If knowledge of mysteries come after emptiness of mind, that is illumination of heart...........Rumi

Namase All, In my way of describing things, sometimes I am not so good at words, this is how I compared Ramana with the Buddha's Vipassana. Both systems drive the attention to the source and the end result is the same. No 'I', just rising vibrations and eventually no vibrations at all. My describing the ego as illusory is my way of saying it doesn't really exist. Kind of like Emperor Parakshit in the Bhagavata discovering the 'thief in the palace'. IMO opinion there is no difference between body and mind or planes or dimensions, they are all one, and in the end illusory. There is no need to run after energies and so named kundalini it will not bring liberation from illusion. Kundalini is actually the mind and as Ramana says, who doesn't have it? It has different names that's all. Relatives and absolutes are difficult to discuss. Sometimes I have difficulty in explaining myself in an intellectual way. Being stuck on words though without action is vndism. In the end result only purification with a system or sadhana is what matters.....ONS...Tony. IMO what people call K is just cleansing prana activity in the subtle mind. Like washing, if you have a dirty sheet it takes a bit more action and tumbling to clean it. So with sheaths the more cleaning required the more manifestation. I have experienced this energy that people call K myself also! It seems to start its cleansing process when a person is ready for development so indicating it comes from the mind itself. Subconsciously precipitated perhaps. Sakti is everywhere and is the mind itself. I don't believe that K moves up the spine per se, but one's attention makes it seem so. I don't believe it is curled up in the muladhara that is just an analogy. Most sages don't pay much attention to it, for it doesn't achieve any liberation. In fact it can be a diversion into experiences. A quote from Ramana would help: ' The mind itself is the life current; the ignorant say that in form it looks like a coiled serpent. The six subtle centres are merely mental pictures and are meant for beginners in yoga.' 'We project ourselves into the idols and worship them, because we do not understand true inward worship. Knowledge of the Self, which knows all is Knowledge in perfection.'...p29 Collected Works of Ramana, by Arther Osborne. One of the differences between Buddhism as taught by the Theravadists, which is nearer IMO to what Buddha said, and the Mahayana/Tibetan type is; That the Mahayanists included a lot of fantasy gods and superstitions, including bon po into the religion. This would have been similar to basic Hinduism in India at the time. Of course more acceptable to underdeveloped minds on the spiritual path. Om Namah Sivaya.....Tony. Everybody has it, but it isn't physically active in everyone - not enough to notice. A person can be using it on other planes to great effect without ever knowing what the physically active Kundalini is. When the combined energies enter the central channel in the spine - sushumna nadi - and begin to move upward, that's when you feel the physical K.
