Bruce -

a superb article written with your usual scintillating wit.

Do you think that you and Krishnamurti might have a *scoffing* at the

more casual spiritual enquirerer in common?

He - being raised by the mad Madame Bl. - to whom he would never hold

a candle (nor would want to!) grew to see the outer "trappings" and ritual

aspects of spirituality with a more jaundiced eye, and here I see the same

in you!

is this just my imagination?

all my best,

valerie

Thanks for the kind words, Val.

I'd say that's true in that I

have no more to to say to rote

religionists or spirituality

hobbyists than he apparently

did.

No, it isn't.

all my best, valerie

Much love -- Bruce

Bruce & Friends,

Bruce, I hope the Mm.Blavatsky bit wasn't in your article, as

Krishnamurti neither met that fascinating woman nor was raised by

her. It's my guess that Mm.B was long dead before K was born, but

it's my certain knowledge that K was raised by Annie Besant and

Charles Leadbetter, known to his circle as CWL or Leadbetter.

See "Krishnamurti: The Years of Awakkening" by Mary Luytens, who was

literally raised along with K in her teenage years.

yours in the bonds,

eric
