Siva is the universal consciousness and sakti is the saguna brahman, prana being her manifestation. The mind again has to be resolved into the Heart/Self, it cannot be achieved by unions within manifested energy. Purusha -Prakriti is more similar to female /male, for as siva/sakti is about energy and consciousness, purusha/ prakriti is about inter-relationships through the mutual attraction of the opposites.
