Guest guest
There is an image seen here that an enlightened being is always in bliss and happiness. Yet, they are also human beings who have feelings, just like the rest of us...are they not? I would appreciate comments from anyone who would care to share. I can only relate my experience Michael.... At this point in my growth, I still experience "feelings" or "emotions", but more from a questioning, observant position... I still feel them, I still cry, but I analyze them now.... And underneath the emotion that is foremost being expressed, there is a deeper constant still ocean of peace, love, truth, and happiness that never goes away... One only needs to seek for that ocean to experience it. And sometimes it is very hidden due to how we experience our "feelings". My sad times flow very quickly now, instead of me hanging onto them, I watch them, experience them, and release them. Guest guest
Hello: How does an enlightened being relate to his/her feelings? Feelings being the reactions in the body to the thoughts and emotions produced by the brain. There is an image seen here that an enlightened being is always in bliss and happiness. Guest guest
>Hello: > >How does an enlightened being relate to >his/her feelings? Hi Michael, This is my experience and understanding: Enlightenment is very much to do with knowing. Knowing is effected by the arising of thought body and emotions. This is why a person can prepare their body, thoughts and emotions and if having an experience of knowing the arisings will already be purified and refined. A person who is still negative has strong emotions and physical drives and intellectual chatter may find the knowing is completely swamped by the arisings. In this sense a person can allow and attune mind body and emotions before or after enlightenment. Before guidance is very much a requirement. >Feelings being the reactions in the body to >the thoughts and emotions produced by the brain. > >There is an image seen here that an enlightened being >is always in bliss and happiness. LOL there is a story of a Zen monk who is confirmed as being enlightened by the master. 'Is it true - ask the other monks?' 'Yes,' confirms the monk, 'and still as miserable as before . . .' Bliss and happiness is a stage not an end. Above it is a condition that is neither one thing or another (bliss or its absence) - in fact quite ordinary . . . Guest guest
October 14th year 2000. This day will live in my heart forever. For I was blessed with a glimpse of the true universal energy. Goddess God except. All holds the same message. Love light beauty. Healing powers for the divine goodness. And now I feel I was being prepared. Not only for the love but also the hate. Not only the light but the darkness. The same with the beauty. One cannot exist without the other. But I suppose that the intent of the energy is what makes our reality. I cannot hold that energy in the light. I feel the darkness is where the light is needed. I have often wondered why the people on these list were brought together. I feel the strength of ten thousand army's in the energy we share. There is much work to be done. I am full of pain and sadness so much it hurts to breath. I was told that I don't have to take it on myself. How can I forgive myself for not being more aware of so much suffering throughout the world we live in? Also now that I am aware what can I do?
