Guest guest
when all the world stops its spinning tales of suffering. The day dawns when we cower beneath the fists of an aggressor, and human instincts begin to kick in and we survive. Its do or die, as we listen to the lies filling our ears. Punishment fit for a king, we kneel on bended knees and beg to be loved. Someone to hear our cries in the dark, as we cower away in the darkness, uncoiling fear of the unseen. Cries of pain are swallowed, as our cries satisify the pretender, and the rape of our soul becomes more evident than the tattered remains of a body defiled, and it is do or die. So we hide, in a warm, safe place within our minds where angels sing and fairies dance and birds of beauty take flight, ignoring the visions of fright, that haunt us at night. We become something other than ourselves, as the lies of hatred are pounded home in every punishing thrust. The blood is to remind us that we disobeyed, and so we believe the lies and remain trapped in a world of illusion. An illusion that has long reaching veins into every aspect of our being. The thread of tapestry of a shattered blanket of innocence. Scattered to the winds, as memories become non existent and we are happy to forget that we were stolen from our home, the heart. Guest guest
Dear Lynette, (Sorry I have your font! I don't mean to. I didn't realize it was hard for you to post the words of your heart. I understand, now, the "raw exposure" and wanted to thank you (like Dharma) for your courage and willingness to heal in such openness. It kind of gives me "permission" to do the same, in my own way. Paths, places, sights, perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back into the Space of Awareness.
