Who's detachment?

Hi Tony,

you mentioned "Actually my most effective 'guru', was an ant I was

observing one day, as he went about his work, with detachment."

and I'm wondering about the parsing of your sentence. Do you mean to

say that you watched with detachment an ant going about his work, or

that the ant was going about his work with detachment? If you meant the

first, I wonder that you seem to point out everyone else's phrasing so

as to suggest that they do not have proper understanding, but are sloppy

with your own meaning. If the second, I wonder how you know that the ant

was or was not detached? It appears to me that you are projecting.

To be fair, I both project and often fail to adequately express what I

mean to say. Alas, I am quite unenlightened.

be well.

Love, Mark

Namaste Mark,

I have difficulty expressing myself a lot. I was watching the ant

going about his business in a seemingly detached patient way. I also

was just observing and came to the conclusion at that time, many years

ago. That surrender was the way for even the ant is cared for and part

of the scheme.........ONS......Tony.
