Guest guest
[[The only thing that changes for some of them is their bank balances,]] ** Changes in the physical body manifest as changes in the subtle body, to include the energy channels. All that is physical is projected from & shaped by the pattern of the subtler essences & currents. Controls established over the physical body serve as triggers to the state of the subtle body & the energy channels. There are those who especially need these controls. Patanjali explains this concept to us, from the /Rajayoga Sutras/, I.21-22 .. there are mrdu, the 'slow ones'; madhya, the 'average' or 'middle ones'; adhimatra, the 'swift, intense ones'. These degrees depend on the strength of our samskaras. Depending on how bound we are to gross, externalized consciousness, depends on how quickly these energies manifest internally. Hathayoga, in any capacity, is preparatory for the subtle energies to manifest physically. Om Shanti ... Yogini Sakti
