You can read a good excerpt at Jerry Katz's wonderful website: www.nonduality.com. Jewish scripture can also be taken at a fundamentalist, fear-based, level and, likewise, can reveal stupendous deeper meaning when read with an awakened eye. Guest guest
Hello all, I am what you concider a baby in my spiritual walk, and I came to a realization today and wanted to share it with you. I was taught all my life that in order to reach God, you had to go through Jesus Christ. That he was the only way. That what the bible said was the be all end all. Then it hit me today who is to say exacly what Jesus was trying to teach? When Jesus went to John to be babtized Did he say," I'm accepting myself into my heart." No. He was trying to show us that we need to wash away all the negativity and fear, and hate. He did not say" You have to do this, or you will go to hell" Maybe what he ment in the sermon on the mount when he said," The only way to the Father is through me" He was saying, you have to listen to what I'm saying and apply it to your life. Doesn't that make more sense? Jennifer

Jesus also said 'Before Abraham was, I Am', or was it before Moses, well it doesn't matter the message is the same. Jesus was talking as a Jivanmukti. Indicating the way to liberation was through Saguna Brahman, which he was a manifestation of, as we all are.. Jesus was a bhodisattva as was the Buddha, and after being raised by the Essenes, went to India and Leh(Tibetan part of Kashimir India), where he meditated in the monasteries, until he was 'realised'. He then returned to Palestine via several other countries. He took his final vows in the great temple( Pyramid of Gizeh), as did John the Baptist.........ONS........Tony. ....ONS..Tony. Buddha said you are my children I am your father. They are asserting their divinity as did Jesus the I or Me they talk of is the universal Self....They are saying the way to liberation is through the Incarnation or Guru...ONS......Tony.
