Tony & Friends,

Thanks for the photo you attached of Baba and Sai,Tony, I haven't

seen this one before. I assume you won't mind if I forward it to the

Bhairava forum and a few friends from the old ashram days?

Friends,

Fascinating. I used the enclosed "Reply" function to respond to a

post from Tony with an attached picture of my guru, Baba Muktananda

and the modern Sai Baba, which Tony labeled "Two Peas in a Pod".

I was subsequently amazed to find that my one post had been

duplicated somehow in transmission and showed up twice as, you

guessed it, "Re:Two Peas in a Pod".

My previous post to the list was also duplicated, but that was

because I used the supplied "Reply" function, and seeing no

response on the list, went back to my email address at CompuServe and

re-posted for the second time. I usually never use "Reply" but did it

this time specifically to avoid another embarrassing repetition. Go

figure.

Namaste Eric,

Go ahead be my guest, I think everyone should have a photo of a couple

of deviants on the wall as a reminder to go within. ..ONS..Tony.

Dearest Tony,

As a reminder to me to 'go within,' I have pictures of Christ,

Krishna, and my Gurudeva on my wall. I have enough deviants plastered

all over my past actions to remind me to go within. Why point blame

at others for my failing to go within? And why look to something that

brings painful memories to you. Let it go Tony. Just let it go, and

look into the eyes of Love.

Much Love to You tony,

Mazie

ºNamaste Eric,

Tony, if you start analyzing, why not do a thorough job...

And you'll find 'inconsistency' abounding...

Just 2 examples, without the names...

Having an operation without an anesthetic

but nevertheless suffering from pain caused by

disease, how to label that? Showing off for

devotees for instance?

And how compassionate is it, to abuse the only

mind-body that served as the proverbial vessel

to 'reach the other shore' by smoking, when almost

begged to? Another 'example' to demonstrate

'mind over matter'?

The feelings operating in these examples are part of a larger whole

that determines behavior, among others, by the level of

'satisfaction' it brings... There are no gurus without feelings,

as 'alive without emotions' would 'leave' perennial bliss only,

without the least tendency to teach etc...

So there is no choice to take a teacher "as is" - or find another...

Tony & Friends,

Actually, Tony, only one of those two "perverts" helped me turn

within, but not by my putting his picture on the wall. Without his

help, I don't think I could have done it.

eric

to go within?

nowhere to go

now here to be

Anyway Tony, just a mental picture of you would do the same job.

Hmmm, come to think of it, how about a picture of "Tony, the Vndictive

Deviant Detective!" :-)

Loving Tony, Wim

Namaste Eric,

Do you mean the teachings he propounded, for in both cases one can

learn good things from a bad guru..It has to be

good stuff in order to attract devotees......ONS.....Tony.
