I find no reference so far from Sankara, or Patanjali. The Brahma Sutras mention the sushumna but that isn't K either, neither are cakras, strictly speaking. Ramana and Lakshmana Swamy give it not much validity as per moksha, so I am looking a little deeper on this subject. It seems it is only considered a method for obtaining siddhis...ONS...Tony.
