That is where the liberating laughter comes in. At that moment you are struck dumb by the obvious truth that you had it all along. You can't believe you didn't see it. It's like you've been holding your hand on your face for years, but never moved the hand to see it was there, so you never knew that it was. Everyone has realization. There is nothing to "get." The only thing that occurs at that moment is the clear, experiential reckoning of it. It's really nothing more than a noticing. Once the noticing has occurred, the mind is tuned to the existence, and the person can be said to be realized.

Also the Saguna Path doesn't result in complete liberation but a higher consciousness, or what they call brahmaloka, a delayed moksha until pralaya....ONS..Tony. I grew up in a rabbinical tradition where extensive absorption in and of Hebrew scripture and commentary was equated to piety and holiness. Tony is very similar, except the language is sanskrit and the assumptions are interpreted out of a different tradition. The result is the same -- after years of study and practice, one becomes an accomplished talkabout, and the lavishly interpreted menu is taken for the meal. http://come.to/realization http://www.atman.net/realization http://www.users.uniserve.com/~samuel/brucemrg.htm http://www.users.uniserve.com/~samuel/brucsong.htm ______________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Guest guest
In other words, one 'becomes' (like Tony 'is') -- The Quintessential VND-ist :-). How "lucky" that 'personality/persona' is never static, but constantly in flux... there's always the possibility that the eternal vigilance required to maintain that momentum may "skip a beat," thus affording (a) brief glimpse(s) of "something else." Yes, yes! How I would love to meet up with Harsha and all (?) you people next year… in Denver… right? By the way Lynette and a lady whom I met at the Prophets Conference here in Victoria, have invited me over to Kansas City to do some work with a group halfway through October with my “bioenergy imaging machine / aura / chakra analyzer…” I would love to stop by on my way (coming or going) to visit anybody between here and there (Victoria, Canada and Kansas, USA). If anybody is interested in me paying them and their friends a visit, I’ll drive my car i.s.o taking a plane. If you wish, email me and I’ll send you an info sheet about cost and the nature of the sessions. I also do a three-hour talk with slideshow and demo with a volunteer. I can see about eight ppl. per day. Love, Wim (Advertising myself shamelessly :-) Incoming mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (www.grisoft.com). Namaste Bruce, Well I would suggest some psychotherapy! Most of what I write is from my own experience as well as reading. I talked of involuntary movements or kriyas as some call them. This happens to me sometimes when I am awakening from meditation, in fact they may be the reason I do awake. 'Kind of time to go back now'. I also feel my sheaths bumping back into the physical as well. However so much mumbo jumbo has been written about K and there are so many unqualified gurus teaching it, as is evidenced by this board, that some discussion was in order. Whether it be Ramana or Buddha or the Tantra, spiritual practice or sadhana is necessary with kundalini yoga or any yoga. With K without sadhan all we have is prana whistling around causing a nuisance.....ONS.....Tony.

Your commentary reaches for the stars but is stuck on the ground. You are an astromoner with no telescope and limited vision, trying to tell us about stars and planets you cannot see. Sort of. When you realize your glasses were on your head you might say "Duh, how silly." When you notice your Self the first time, you are astounded at how simple and easy it all is. You don't feel dumb or silly, but you are amazed at how you never noticed that which is so obvious and pervades one's life so thoroughly.
