Thanks Diana and Kheyala for your interest... I've written to you

privately. I smiled ruefully after sending that post, wondering if

I'd have to try to find that article. It seems to have been victim to

many files lost in a system crash a while back. I did find a letter

which was the genesis of some thinking, and have sent that.

 

What is of note here is how my own 'system' orientation seems to have

crashed again and again in the five years since writing those

thoughts. Those would be the years since becoming aware of Advaita..

and deep 'self' inquiry; as well as years of listening to the pointed

edges of others on these lists. I note now that I am held by so few

"points of view". They all seem to have become rounded off or have

fallen into some structureless void.

 

Points of view and/or opinions, seem to animate the personality They

also seem to give a purposeful impetus to one's life. I notice now a

certain flatness of

dis-orientation.. neither animated nor depressed, as both seem to

imply a structure which doesn't quite hold as center anymore. In some

ways, I 'miss' the animation, but not the binding.

 

Perhaps, this is merely another aspect of the movement which seems to

have called my attention for over 30 years. A facet known now as

attention without points and with few words.
