I don't disagree with you, humpty dumpty will do, its all about

concentration. However gurus and cults that hurt people through

molestation, and other negative actions, is something else

altogether........ONS.......Tony.

Hello Everyone,

It is interesting that I was talking about this very thing to a friend

yesterday, and also, how wonderful the world works, to catch a show on

the History channel this morning, also discussing this very issue.....

In a world, where there are manipulators and the victims...And most

oftentimes, both in one person. There is that line we draw between

acceptable and unacceptable behavior, forgetting so easily that we

become what we become because of other manipulators and victims....

We just become what we know.. And it is a lie....It is important for

me, but perhaps not for you, to look beyond the manipulation, and the

victimhood and discover the true source of the individual's pain....

It is in this pain that we do things that others view as being

manipulative. We try to help ourselves feel better, and unfortunately

this might be the only way we know how.....

As such, how does one in such a position heal themselves, thru compassion..

by no means do I feel that criminal acts should be left unpunished....

yet, I pose a question to you....... At what point did the gurus that

made love to their followers, do this act? Was it actually an act of

manipulation? {as I'm in sure in some cases it is} or was it an act

of loving reunion between two souls becoming one? And at what point

did it become wrong??? When it became public, and the media pounced

upon the "victim" and the "manipulator" and wronged this union?? How

often does the public or society or the church, or the media wrong

someone???

by our own perceptions of what is right and wrong, we condemn, and

make wrong something that perhaps was not wrong.... And yet, the one

in the position of the victim, may not realize this, but guilt

settles in and plagues them, and so..... It must be wrong if

everybody says it is so........

I feel that we push too much of our own perceptions of right and wrong

towards people, that they find it too easy to judge their actions and

judge the actions of those around them....

I just wonder...... how many of those relationships were made wrong,

when at the moment of the actual act, it was well received by both

parties, and experienced as a loving event........

{not to discredit the many times that manipulation did come into play..... Its just

Who are we to know. }

With Delight

Namaste Lynette,

How about a guru having intercourse with a seven year old boy? or

another guru violating a minor virgin?......How do you rationalise

that? in the physical world? Althought their devotees come up with the

most interesting gymnastics, but what do their parents feel? Or more

important the child?...It could have a deleterious

effect on their spiritual developement......ONS....Tony.
