Guest guest Posted September 1, 2001 Report Share Posted September 1, 2001 This is a lot like... can one lose their salvation? when one has an awakening, he is in touch with his Higher Power consciously..... To the extent he stays with his Higher Power (inner Guru) (obedience to inner Self) he is enlightened (walking in the light) or if disobeying his own dharma "in the dark" . Arjuna told Krishna: My delusion is destroyed (I see the light), I will do thy bidding... now if he goes back to the dark side and doesn't follow dharma anymore, he could be one who has lost enlightenment but had an instance or experience of spiritual awakening. The whole deal for me is coming back into right relationship with my Higher Power whenever I notice I've lost the connection.... Its like mindfulness... the mindfulness bell rings... you recognize you are lost in a self-centered fairy tale (posessed by Satan?) and come back to the presence or present moment... (God).
