Guest guest
>> When I say "When I'm bringing it up, and I do it all the time with people especially kids", I am saying that I feel the energy and focus on it while talking or otherwise just being with people and since I paint a lot of kids from life and have for years I was wondering what if any affect this might have on them. I don't personally see how it could hurt them but I'm asking anyway. << Hi Bob ~ ah another new face I missed during yet another absence. It is always wonderful to meet a fellow artist. I have often felt connected with the Divine Energy when doing my art work or writing songs or singing. Call it kundalini, or some other name, I don't believe it really matters. It is my experience that if I, as you say, experience this and hold it in my heart, the only outcome is positive (in a dualistic world). I think to harm anyone, a person would have to have an intent to harm and directly focus their energy with that intent. However, I don't believe, even in this dualistic world, that even with such an intent, the Divine Energy would do harm. I have read stories, one of them about a woman who is regarded as a modern day saint (Anandi Ma), who, opened early to their experience of this Divine Energy in a Big Way, had some difficulties themselves. For example, Anandi Ma would sometimes fall over and hit her head; she would be so absorbed in the Divine that she didn't attend to her body. Her parents were very happy when a saintly guru in their area of Gujurat, Shri Dyanyogiji, came to their home at the father's request. They were worried because they could not wake her out of her samadhi. Dyanyogiji gently woke her and spoke with her, and then she went to his ashram where he instructed her in channeling the energy for the good of mankind. It is a wonderful story, all the better for being a true one. Here is what Anandi Ma has to say herself: "The infinite is in the form of pure love. Meditate to reach it and you will find infinite love, peace and happiness." This sounds to me like what you are already doing, and I can only believe that not only are you benefited, but those around you, and even those who see your art. Of course, being an artist myself, I believe in the power of art. Shanti ~ Linda
Guest guest
Hi Linda: It is a great privilege for me to have satsang. Thoughtful people are a great pleasure in life. The people blessed to be bound by their love to others so blessed can not but generate hope for a great awakening. I have learned a lot in the last few days. I will try to post a picture I painted recently. (If I can figure out how.) Visuals have a lot of power. How nice to meet you! Love, Bob G.
