Let me know and I'll take a new photo. Some of the printing places do nice 11x17 photos. The painting is a 12x16 oil. Love Bob G. > > > > /join > > > > > > All paths go somewhere. Guest guest
Dear Bob, I am more than very happy about your idea regarding the print! There is something sacred about the sharing of one's gifts without concern for monetary return, don't you think? And of course the recipient is so full of gratitude that he or she wants to give something back. It is always wonderous to see how that manifests when that desire (to give back) is truly let go of. Something always manages to happen in that Grace that makes it perfect, like when we touch our palms to each other and really see our Selves in the other. So I touch my palms together right now and I see You, and I am so grateful! Love to my Self, called Bob, Kheyala P.S. Guest guest
Dear Dharma; I could not find out how much k this better resolution picture has but it is maybe half a meg. You could take it and delete it if you start having trouble. Or just let me know when and I will send it. I'm glad you like it. Love Bob G. Guest guest
Hi Bob, >I could not find out how much k this better resolution picture has >but it is maybe half a meg. You could take it and delete it if you >start having trouble. Or just let me know when and I will send it. Why don't you send it any weekday morning (Pacific time)? That way, if it should gum up the works at my ISP, I can call and get them to delete it. >I'm glad you like it. I love it!! I wish I could send you a photo of a painting on my wall, done many years ago by my aunt. But I don't have a really fine camera, and besides, the painting badly needs cleaning - right now it looks darker than it should. It's called "Gateway to Childhood," and it shows the old gateway where a dirt road went into the woods that used to be at the edge of my home town. The trees are dense, but looking back through the opening in the trees, you can see bright sunlight where there must be a clearing in the woods. Years ago, my grandfather owned that little woods, and my mother and her siblings played there when they were children. Sometimes they put up a tent and stayed overnight... and when Alice the horse grew old and was replaced by an early automobile, she was retired to the woods. We went for walks in that woods when I was a child, though the dirt path had been replaced by the end of East Street and a few houses had been built just inside the woods. Nowadays what's left of the woods is honey-combed with streets and full of homes. The painting's style is not like yours, but something about your painting reminds me of it, and I'd like to hang it on another wall. Guest guest
Hi Dharma: Okay, I will send it when you said, probably tomorrow morning. Your Aunt's painting must be a cherished memory of the family. First auto. That was a while back. I now live in a house that my Mother would pass when a little girl. It was very fine then and well kept. She is now 87 and a real sweetheart. Places change. I'm glad to send the picture to you and anyone else that wants it. Mazie wrote me a nice note too. Thanks Mazie. Love Bob G.
