Prescription for pain

To my knowledge, a *knower* of Love could never write that!

Such a one can even see Love through pain, won't point the finger

and cannot blame. Such a one will give instead of receive, sacrifice

instead of deceive.

Ah Jan...this hits close to home. My hubby told me not long ago that

he didn't think it was fair for me always to be the one attempting to

deal with my own responses (well, though, who else will?) when no one

else in my family takes responsibility for theirs (and currently, I

am at the end of the pointing fingers). If I can get comfortable

here, no one will ever be able to sway me from my Center by threats

of abandonment or by name calling (I am Linda the Great and the

Terrible). I am so tempted to forward your post to everyone involved,

but, as I am still attempting to deal with myself instead of

controlling them, I will not push the Send button. But thanks...if

everyone could follow your simple prescription...just imagine. Shanti

Linda, there is another way of conveying the prescription:

Life is like a pinball game and whatever you target and shoot,

in the end, only you will be hit - because there is only "you".

The delay between shooting and being hit (hurt) depends on

conditioning or from another perspective,

karma. Because of the delay, the "proof" is difficult to get

but when perceptive, and see the events of a lifetime in retrospect,

some pieces of evidence will be found... Hence the folly of

revenge, capital punishment etc.. Give the "right" example instead...
