It permeates both Western and Eastern philosophies (adapted currently as philosophy, religious and scientific debates in our Western constructs of current culture). Documents have survived and held sacred for well over 5000 years as to human nature/ our unique compostion of fire, earth, air, and water, the combination of each of these elementals we each are, and what we choose to offer to the whole of universal consciousness. These elementals and their combinations we are today comprise a modern day (20-21st century) profile called MBTI and temperament scales. These are related powerfully to our archetypes and cultural myths. Myths, symbols, metaphors, mixed metaphors, synesthesia (criss-crossed senses) can catch our attention, offer much to our *here, now, today* summary as human on earth. And to move between these elements as occasion arises or deepens, as it depends, these symbols can mark an inner and outer process that never stops evolving, personally and universally. So there is much more to the MBTI than is surface sharing. It is no different than asking "what is your sun sign?" at parties. But IF these typologies begin to get folks talking together, then I perceive that there is value in this. Thus, the goal of this little test. And, as with anything that seems superficial at the onset, there is a hidden complexity. By analogy, we can potentiate an EE or depotenitate, dismiss, it. However, when we potentiate our EHE(s), when something (ourSelf) asks us for More, then new perspectives, prisms of self and world open again and we return with More. We invite you to share your own insights and comments here. They will be included anonymously in the final report, unless otherwise requested. :-)) Suzanne Vivian Brown [see MBTI Poll: Preamble for further information.... ]
