Guest guest
Above the purple pond of pilgrimage Arises a towering triump of truth Where kneels an ancient angel of mercy Come to stay for an hour or two. The alter on that dotted hill All stone and redwood debris Lies a little winged broken bird Among the fallen leaves. On bended boughs of ag'ed oaks All nature watched in awe As splattering of rainbow bright Descends from clouds above. In one splendid second stopped And all of time stood still Into the air the bird took flight As all of love had willed.
