Guest guest
Thanks for the beautiful poetry James. And Gloria and Mazie, and Mark and Mira and Lynnette, and Jeannie. Thank you Bob, Kheyala, Dan, Eric, Wim, JamesT, JamesS, Jan, Bruce, Sue, [Antoine, Anna Maria (in love?)] for the depth of your sincerity and wisdom. Welcome Lady Monica, Sue, Jay, and others. I think Jay a Ph.D. student in London who is the great grandson of T.K.S. Sundaresa Iyer recently joined. You may recall that I often post the story about T.K.S Sundaresa Iyer and Bhagavan. Jay, if you read this, introduce yourself. Don't be shy. Here is the last verse of my poem, "Eternal Spring." It speaks of the irresistible pull of the Heart. The pull, this magic pull, on my decaying orbit, takes away the choice of ever being untrue. What voice can speak now and say I loved and lost myself in You and Saw that You were Me! Silence stole us from ourselves For all Eternity. Harsha james traverse [nisarga] Friday, September 28, 2001 1:18 PM Tagore - Gitanjali (Part I) "Thou hast made me endless, such is thy pleasure. This frail vessel thou emptiest again and again, and fillest it ever with fresh life. This little flute of a reed thou hast carried over hills and dales, and hast breathed through it melodies eternally new. At the immortal touch of thy hands my little heart loses its limits in joy and gives birth to utterance ineffable. Thy infinite gifts come to me only on these very small hands of mine. Ages pass, and still thou pourest, and still there is room to fill." Love, james /join All paths go somewhere. No path goes nowhere. Paths, places, sights, perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of Awareness. Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It is Home. Home is where the Heart Is. Jnanis know the Heart to be the Finality of Eternal Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of Self-Knowledge, spontaneously arising from within into It Self.
