Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I live real quietly out in the boonies and ever since this computer came into my life about two months ago I have discovered an incredible new social life with e-mails. It's amazing. I guess you all know about that already. Anyway, once in a while I just feel like hanging out live with other folks and I was wondering if there was a chatroom that you all go to when you get that urge, too. I have gone to the HS and NDS rooms but they are always empty. Just curious. Thanks, Kheyala

I found this world of computer offered friendships myself, only one year ago. I never knew such a thing even existed like these groups. Funny thing, the Jokemaker led me here when I was searching for a site called death.com, a plaything that predicts the time you'll die. I think that if any of us wanted to chat, we just have to agree to meet there at a given time. Is that it? Guest guest
Just to let everyone know again, we have regular satsangh online chats on Sunday 9pm EST. Last time, Gloria, Antoine, Kheyala, Bob, and Diane were there. We have also had Christiana, Jan, and David there as well at times. There is usually some singing and talking and chanting. Last time Bob sang the Elvis classic, "Don't be cruel to a heart that's true." The ladies went wild imagining the hip movements. Antoine sang a lovely duet in french with Gloria, roughly translated it went "Honey, Honey, Honey, give me some money, and I'll give you some honey oh honey honey honey...something like that." Just kidding. It's a pretty good time overall and people get to know each other a little better. Guest guest
Hi Harsha and everyone: The chatroom last Sunday night was enormous fun for me. Thanks to everyone there for your Darshan. The claims made by Harshiji below are totally bogus. I sang an offkey rendition of "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" which was met with silence until H. said 'That was good Bob' in a very small voice. I think he made up the reference to the don't be cruel song because I had said he sounded like Apu on "The Simpsons". Well. I thought it would be okay because he said I sounded like Gomer Pyle. As you can see the love in the chatroom is palpable. If I am not there gang it is because I have a difficult project to finish. Yesterday was a difficult day in many ways. I stopped by the chatroom and only Gloria was there having a "pretend" conversation with Tony. Anyway, we will try again next Sunday and be better organized. I will try my best to sound like Apu. Could you do one of the Hank William Senior routine next Sunday.......maybe sing the classic "Your cheatin heart will make you weep.. you try and try and try to sleep But sleep won't come the whole night through, your cheatin heart will tell on you." I think with your Texas voice, it could be really something! By the way, we all loved your "Row Row Row your boat" rendition. Honestly. I know that when you came to singing, "gently down the stream" and made your voice go funny, tears (of joy) were streaming down my cheeks. Bob, you are deep, you are an artist, and you are a wonderful entertainer. Thank you for your great presence, humor, wit, and wisdom! :-). Guest guest
Dear Harsha I cherish your friendship and will endeavor to practice a country routine suitable for my vocal pecularities. I first realized people considered my voice funny when I worked and studied art in Cape Cod Massachusettes. My boss in the frame shop had a thick Boston Accent. He called me Bab and had me repeat things I said for his friends. One day he came in excited and shouted at me, "Bab, Bab, There's shacks in the waaada." It took me a moment but when I understood him I started to the door to see the flooded low rent houses in the bay. There were only sharks thrashing around. A few days later he wanted to repair a brown frame with a nick. He came in to the shop and said, "Bab, do you have any dock brown." This was too good to resist. I said in heavy hick, "No Paul, but I got some pier white." I like to sing but I usually have large brass and string sections back me up. It mellows the twang. There aren't enough good vibes out there right now for us to let up. Love Bobby G. i , "Harsha" <harsha-hkl@h...> wrote: > > bgbbyg@a...
