Guest guest
Hi you guys. Thanks for your advice. To be honest, I don't even know what ICQ and MSN stand for, but I was able to download the Messenger and put my ageless and genderless self in the directory. So, if I understand this correctly, it doesn't work like a "room," rather, it is a communication that is initiated by someone and is instant, right? Like a phonecall? The trick, now, is how to know my friends' I.D.'s? And also, wanting to respect my new internet family, how does one know if a spontaneous "phonecall" is welcomed? Kheyala It can work like a room - click at "tools" and then "conference"... When a friend is online, that is visible, but it's possible to send messages to those offline too - then it will pop up as a kind of "hi!" The "add friends" menu requires input, either name, ID or an interest/keyword, like "Yoga" or "meditation". Much easier, to become a member of the "I AM" list - then click "members" and look up the profiles - if that has an entry "add to friend list", that's all... When that initiative is appreciated, you'll know... Jan
