Guest guest
Mystical Journey Life is a journey from the outside in. Many would not understand that statement but there it is. Life is not something to save for, it isn't something to anticipate, it isn't something to remember. Life is none of those things. Life is this moment, this split second where consciousness meets consciousness. It is here where existence is most powerful. Many take life so seriously, many save every penny against a time where there will be no pennies. Many worry and fret so about what they did in the past they do not see the present only worry more that the past will be in the future. And it will if we think it is so. Life is this moment the universe and you come alive each within the other. It is this time when you take your first waking breath and the universe holds you in Its infinite hands as you hold it in yours. It is a loving expression of Being. This mystical journey begins when we come to realize that things are not what they seem. We begin first to notice that others do not feel what we feel. There seems to be something missing in them. But is it in them that it is missing or are all those others a reflection of our selves at this moment in time? The mystical journey is a tight rope and as a loving friend stated it is razor sharp and will cut us. But this is not physical it is emotional. Like a two edged sword it cuts away that which we no longer need, it dispenses with attachments. It brings forth our most dreaded fears and our most highest ideas and place both in front of us. Neither these qualities of life are easy to look at. Our fears are manifested in love rejected. Our fears are our feelings of not being good enough, or wise enough to be what we so dearly want to be. They come up in doubts and in the language of others who say you are wrong or you are crazy. It is an insane person who can take on the world and say my beliefs are right and the rest are wrong. We go against the majority and in doing so we are severed from their system of thought. Our fears will come to us in so many ways, some in a loved one who says no to our offer of love. You see by offering your love you are actually attaching yourself to it and the person you offer it to. You are trying to bind them to you. That is being attached and love knows no attachments, it needs none. So you feel rejected and it is your feelings, your being attached to a hopeful outcome. You see there are no outcomes for every moment is new and there is no finished product. This is the fear that we most need to face, laugh at it as a caricature in a play. Know what it is and let it go. Oh yes, you can let it go...it is easier than you think. You just do it. Fear is yourself showing you exactly what you need to do. You just accept the present and do it. Our highest ideals are those qualities that bring us closes to the Universal Thought, to God , to The All. I rather like the term "The All" simply because it has no designation, neither female nor male and I so dislike saying It. Still to each their own. Our ideals change as we grow within and it will always do so. But trying to be the best we can is really the only ideal we can accomplish. We can set our sites on sainthood but even the saints were human and they too were not infallible. So in many ways our Highest Ideas can in some way limit us through the fear of not achieving them. It is something to take a look at. If we are the best we can be we are accomplishing the work we accepted to accomplish. If on the other hand we set up an ideal so far above us (or seemingly so) that we have no hope of accomplishing it. We will miss the mark totally. But if we are the best we can be well than the mark everyday is hit and we change to set a new mark. That is the most profoundest thing in the world to do. Do not set your sight so high that you cannot achieve it. Sometimes, sometimes, little steps will turn into giant leaps of understanding and from the center of your Being enlightenment comes like a ray of light shimmering on the pathway of your journey. It is not important what way you choose on your path. The importance lies in the fact you know you are the path, you are the journey and you are the mystical creature walking it every moment of your life.
