Guest guest
FLASH! on the first 550 characteristics of enlightenment. We've got a lead on the first 32. Several times I've posted a list of 32 characteristics of the EO (Enlightened One). Like a Reality TV show, they all have the characteristic of having been claimed as true. Each one had been claimed, in all seriousness, by a teacher somewhere or other, as an actual characteristic displayed by the EO. That list is in the HSS or NDS archives. But here's the rub: another one of the 550 EO characteristics (#549) is: not digging that list out of the archives. My father always said that his farts smelled like strawberry ice cream. No path goes nowhere. Paths, places, sights, perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of Awareness. Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It is Home. Home is where the Heart Is. Jnanis know the Heart to be the Finality of Eternal Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of Self-Knowledge, spontaneously arising from within into It Self. Guest guest
Number 548. "If you've uncovered this characteristic, you've dug too deep. Turn back before it's too late." Of course, 550 is too potent to post here on this list. Only an enlightened one can read 550 and stay sane. Smelling like a rose, Smiling like it shows, Sounding like a bose, Always ready to doze, Dan --- Gregory Goode <goode wrote: > FLASH! on the first 550 characteristics of > enlightenment. Guest guest
Number 547. If you do not close this e-mail message right now, you will not attain enlightenment in this lifetime.
