I did not post often so am sure not many of you are familiar with me. I am a friend of leteegee, one of the sweetest persons you could ever meet. She is the one who told me about this group. I met her when I lived in Florida, moved to South Carolina close to five years ago now. I miss her and Florida but like living here also. My daughter, Stacey, son-in-law, Steve, and 7 year old granddaughter, Bre, live here. Stacey had a total hysterectomy last Friday, she had been in and out of remission from uterine cancer for five years. She was wanting to have another child but the physical pain got so bad that she decided to have the hysterectomy. Her hubby has stood by the decision, am so glad that he is supportive of her. She is doing remarkably well so far, needs to pace herself for the next six weeks or so. Steve took off from work this week to be with her, I come over after work and am taking off work next week to be with her. Some friends of hers pop in to check on her and a neighbor across the street. I am so relieved that she has had the surgery, was concerned that the cancer would have spread, she was looking peaked (southern term I believe, pronounced peak ed lol). Not much else to write about at this time, so will close for now. Am looking forward to reading the postings each day like I had been. Take it easy, breezies.
