RUMI

 

At every instant and from every side, resounds the call of Love: We

are going to sky, who wants to come with us? We have gone to heaven,

we have been the friends of the angels, And now we will go back

there, for there is our country. We are higher than heaven, more

noble than the angels: Why not go beyond them? Our goal is the

Supreme Majesty. What has the fine pearl to do with the world of

dust? Why have you come down here? Take your baggage back. What is

this place? Luck is with us, to us is the sacrifice!... Like the

birds of the sea, men come from the ocean--the ocean of the soul.

Like the birds of the sea, men come from the ocean--the ocean of the

soul. How could this bird, born from that sea, make his dwelling

here? No, we are the pearls from the bosom of the sea, it is there

that we dwell: Otherwise how could the wave succeed to the wave that

comes from the soul? The wave named 'Am I not your Lord' has come, it

has broken the vessel of the body; And when the vessel is broken, the

vision comes back, and the union with Him.

My love upon the midnight waters Bathing in perfect unionWithin the

waters of peace.Flowing over my darkened skin of delightDetailed with

darkest desire, light me insideThe embrace of your righteousness. My

truth unfolding in each wave~ Movement of sand sweeping away The

debris in my mind.Engulfing me in glorious reunionWith my beloved

one~ Awareness ripples of joy fill my essence.As I breathe the water

of bliss,Drowning in its protective folds of truth,I find my home on

the sandy bottom of heaven. Earth's treasure trove emptied of its

gold, Replaced with gems of brightness divine.Beauty within sparkle

and shine. I am captured in its brightness of featuresOf the motion

of nothingness~ I am nothing.Nothing beyond what you make of me.

Dissolving division, becomes oneness Within the break of the

wavesUpon the rock shaven shores of eternity.Long lasting surf of

awareness, Forever in its love of flowing inwards to out,I am the

motion of all that is.Welcome me within your embrace, Dearest one of

desire. My love knows only nothingness.Nothing teases the

imaginationLike tastes of delighted delicacies. Tempting, tempting

treasures of gold,To disappear upon the touch of the light. Being
