Guest guest
Dear Friends, We would like to welcome the new members and thank everyone for their presence. Thank you EricA for your beautiful poetry and eloquent sharing. These are captivating. Please consider the HS Magazine for one of your poems (maybe the one I commented on a few weeks back). And thank you EricB, for raising the issue of Kundalini in relationship to depression. Are you familiar with a series of posts on this matter over the last three weeks where we spoke about how Kundalini (being the massive power behind the unconscious) awakening can weaken the barrier between the conscious and the unconscious minds creating tremendous and persistent anxiety, panic, a sense of doom which can last for years and how this can be interpreted as mental illness by the medical community. Jill Eggers (Bobby, Jill is a professor in the Art dept. at a major university) and I exchanged some views on that recently although this is such a complex topic that a few posts can hardly do justice. Perhaps as EricB has said, there is a need to keep having a dialogue and talking. There are many people here who can offer insight into this. Bobby thank for your bringing the richness of your life experiences to the Sangha. It is truly invaluable. I understand that you have submitted an article for the upcoming HS magazine with your art and we all look forward to seeing it. Maybe we can have something from Jill, this time around as well. Jan, I still have an article that you sent on the benefits of a raw diet last year. Along with your beautiful poetry and pictures (I love the recent one about the goat standing alone accompanied by a haiku), perhaps we can put this up. Anything else you would like to submit would be great. James, your poems are wonderful. I love the one about Stillness and thanks for contributing that for the next issue. Thank you for your support and it is much appreciated. Thank you Viorica for your posts on Sri Ramana. It is a tribute to the knowledge of our members that when you asked a question about Qabala you received such informed responses from Dan and James. Welcome back from your vacation. Thanks Kheyala for your warmth and kind thoughts on the list and for your support. People were asking about you at the last Satsangh chat. Bobby waited a long time to sing so you could get there in time. Finally when he did sing, you could hear the deep emotion in this voice. Thank you Mark and Mira and Mazie and Lynnette and Jeannie, for your great poetry and the depth of your wisdom. I read perceptions of life sometimes and I am glad so many poets have found it to be their home. Thanks Dan for your scintillating humorous brilliance and being such a wild man of radical nonduality! Wild but in your characteristically gentle way. Thanks Dan, Greg, David, Hillary, Syena, Amanda, Mace, Ed, Antoine, Lastrain, Sue Smith, Andrew, Ed, Mace, DavidH, DavidB, Valerie, Holly, Gloria, David, John, Greg, Magne, Christopher, Tony, Gill, TG (thanks for coming back!), Sarah, Amber, Tee, Ejaye, Gautamrita, Bruce, Jill, Linda, Diana, Christiana, Wim, James, Kheyala, Bobby, Mark, Mira, Mazie, Nina, MarkO, Julie, Jen (hope you are feeling better), JanB, JanS, Jill, JB, Michael, Monica, Joyce, Anna Maria, Cy, Michael and so many others for contributing in this fellowship. Please consider writing something for Michael, you are right that the first version of the poem is better. I knew it too! That is why I asked. Your command of English is excellent. I don't know how many of you read the post that I wrote on the trauma to the Sangha 8 months ago, but Jerrysan Rinpoche has written to me privately and said that he is considering returning after his PC is fixed. The Tulku of our times sends his love. When he does return, let us not talk about the past scandals for a while at least. Thanks and love to all Harsha

If the Tulku has commanded our discreeteness and silence in these matters, I guess we have no other option but to stand and deliver. Or not as it were. Thanks for reposting Mr. Osborne's story. It's an informing and inspiring story, not the least that the great sage is still among us and continues to receive students/seekers from all countries, including those far from the Maharshi's native country like the author and irrespective of their culture and creed. I have no doubt that what Mr. Osborne says is true and that brings a smile to the mind. Love, Amanda.

Reading the stories of Ramana's devotees is one of favorite past times. These are difficult times. The energy movements are shifting. People are becoming more withdrawn. I can see it happening with me as well. Perhaps when the Tulku of our times arrives, we can discuss these things. Love and peace to all Harsha

Hopefully the Tulku has PC repair devotees that are both quick and accurate, PCs being notoriously moody and difficult to repair once broken down. When reading the stories of Ramana's devotees it's easy to recognize one's own story in it.. maybe not as spectacular but having shades of similarity nonetheless. It's good to read Osborne's words about "the one who takes upon himself the sins of the world". It reads like the old proverb "a shared sorrow is half the sorrow and a shared joy is double the joy" to me. Love, Amanda.
