Hi Jill, Tg, Amanda:

It is nice to speak with you again. The awakening of kundalini

certainly brings with it a variety of physical reactions, devotion,

surrender, bliss and despair. What I wonder about and do not seem to

ever hear or read anything about is it's effect on outer life

circumstances. If it were only my own life that became totally

rearranged in the process I would chalk it up to karma, luck or

decisions. However, within a circle of people that I know it just

seems as if once the Goddess starts to dance all sorts of surprises

in life come at a rapid pace. Has anyone else experienced this?

Love,

Linda

Oh my heavens, yes. I've moved across the country twice, remarried, changed

careers, etc., etc. There is an urgency in resolving all unsettled issues,

quite separate from personal will. In some cases people have reappeared from

long ago in my life just so I could do this. For several years I've been

dreaming about everyone I've ever known, randomly, it seems. All of this

feels impersonal, as if the bodymind is being reprogrammed. Holly

Hi Linda,

Yes, this has been my experience as well. I think of St Therese saying, "Lord,

Thou has quickened me." Pysically the awakening of kundalini has been like the

thrashing of a garden hose releasing the pressure of water in its kinks. In the

experience of the outer life, there has been a correlative experience of rapid

shifts and dramatic changes. It feels like karma is speeded up. As much as its

possible to make the distinction betwen inner and outer, I would say that for

the most part the outer life improved steadily, with most of the blocks and

speeding up being worked out in the physical and emotional body and in

relationship dramas that have an intense karmic quality of remembrance and

resolution to them. The pace of change is very rapid, as you say, with the

entire picture, or quality of consciousness and experience, looking completely

different almost from month to month.

I have been rather fortunate, having lived life solitarily for the major part

of it.

The changes have been so profound that friends and relatives did appear as

complete strangers with points of view, i apparently once shared but which

had been set to "irrelevant" or "worse". That radical change happened in less

than eight months

and was but the tip of the iceberg. Needless to say that those friends and

relatives

were never met again... In that sense, even the potential for relationships is

like disappearing into a black hole...
