Guest guest
Its a pity we cannot greet strangers more openly. I am curious about people. I find people interesting. I am also keen to find out, just what people believe them selves to be. It is amusing to hear people describe themselves. They will say- I am a Doctor, or I am a gardener. If you ask them what they are, they will define themselves by the work they do, or they will make an excuse and say, I am retired, but I was a fireman, I was a salesman. As if by saying - I was It still defines them now, or by relating to the past, that relation, describes their purpose now, even in this negative way. Of course, you never were a Doctor or a gardener, you merely did the work of doctoring and gardening. Actually, when you think about it, gardeners, firefighters and salesmen are just as much healers as physicians. The work they did or do, healed a need, a circumstance, or a condition. Embodiment is addictive. We believe in a whole range of bodies that specialize in performing certain tasks, like husband wife, father, mother etc.,. Is it not true also, that to each embodiment we assign a variant of our personality? You can say I am a mother and a gardener, and think them different aspects of you. Yet a mother is a gardener to her family and a gardener a mother to the plants in her care, and both descriptions suggest the work of healing. So if someone says to me that he or she is a healer, I do not automatically jump to assumptions and categories them in a specific pigeon hole, but ask them about how they create a healing environment in their lives. I always want to ask people certain questions, but I cannot be too forward, and obvious about this. People become uncomfortable about the really important things, it is best to let them talk about the peripheral, or socially defining aspects of their existence, hoping that they may begin to ask the important questions of life of themselves. It would be so much more direct to ask these questions- Where have you come from? What were you before you were born? Where are you going? What are you expressing as yourself now? Have you a mission, and if so, have you figured it out yet? What will you be and what will you do, when you drop this body? These are the great questions. The ones that we need to ask ourselves everyday. There maybe no definitive answers to these questions, but there are healing answers to be found. Healing answers give purpose to life, they point to growth and resolution, and then to ever more authentic questions, such as- My beliefs are my limitation. When did I stop? When did my role playing become my definition? Why do I need to mask my purpose by assuming different hats to make me a specialist? Yes, its a pity we cannot usually meet people between the shores of what they think they are, and what they really are, and say- Hey, what divine image of yourself will you be today? I need a mirror of myself, and you are my healing moment, give me it to receive mine. A concept is such a poor gift when to creators meet. I am a Brotherhood of One. A blade of grass in our field of awakening. What I do or say, is no more then what I am, and what you appear to be. Arisen from the wind that plays and moves between the meadow grass. I am the pacific one: The still one, yet in all places. A wave in this moment.
