Guest guest
Dear all, Paramahansa Yogananda said, "Thought is universally, not individually, rooted." He explained that all thoughts that can ever be thought, from the lowest to the highest, are vibrating eternally in the ether (akash). Thinking a thought, then, is tantamount to attuning oneself to a certain energy already pre-existing within creation. In this sense, Yoganandaji said, man cannot think an original thought; it is, however, his privilege to choose what vibration he wants to tune in with. What else can "go" or "grab?" Moreover, who is "us" if not the thoughts that separate consciousness into nominal individuals?
