Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm just back home in Victoria for a few days and then it is off again... as the tour goes on. As Lynette wrote before, I visited her in that beautiful state of Missouri. Her husband and three children... How wonderful and delightful people are! Before that I saw families in Halifax see their soldier fathers, mothers, spouses or children off to the Near East. All wonderful responsible people. All knowing what is to be done... in spite of political or public opinion, alterior agendas... After that I saw my mother join my father in heavenly realms... How how truly wonderful people are..., all of us, even those who are deemed not to be 'so wonderful'. "There is no reason to worry about the state of human affairs..." the first message my mom gave me after she passed on an learned about the intricacies and dynamics of the universe at large and in its finest detail. It took her only an hour to get it figured out, was she ever in awe... and did she love to learn and teach, "No reason to worry..." What? No reason to worry about people's affairs? Yep! Lots of incentives to work with them though... but that is happy stuff, good work, positive. The incentive AND reward is at once the reestablishment of unconditional love, truth and happiness. If this work would drag one down, if it would make one feel miserable or nervous, bitter or hopeless, if one would lose one's peace of mind, if one loses sleep over it, one is not doing the work appropriately... Right action is joyful action, good-will action. 'Joy' from the Latin 'julius' = happiness, peaceful joy. 'Will' as in goodwill, also derived from 'julius'. People of good-will, performing right action with loving kindness, realize and actualize the realm of 'heaven on earth' . 'Right action' going hand in hand with 'loving kindness' is at once an extension and a realization of loving kindness. Positive action and serious action nevertheless... but like a serious cup of coffee..., a lot of pep and acumen. And... let me not forget, I am always so amazed... Americans are good people. Do not let some grumpy fellow American convince you otherwise. Americans learn... learn quickly... learn well. I notice that clearly when travelling from country to continent... Whatever happens 'physically', there is at least 15 billion years of cosmic and evolutionary impetus behind that. If we think we understand matters easily, can draw a quick conclusion, have a quick solution, condemn some action hastily or with a sense of selfrighteousness and goody-goodyness, we are losing sight of a long range cure... of which some un- or mis-understood action may be a step... We do not even know our 'selves', we do not even have our own life in order, how can we think we can intervene in 'rights and wrongs' overnight and judge any factual action that takes place? To understand the dynamics of war and strife will guide us towards long range peace. Judgemental over-haste will not do anything but backfire on the ones passing judgement and sentences. Off to bed, a good sleep...
