Guest guest
Vicky & Friends, Vicky, Just as some have suggested to you that your postings for one reason or another don't belong here, I would like to suggest that that they do. For those who find them redundant, because they can be found elsewhere, I can only remind them that some of us haven't read many of the works of/on Ramana that have emerged in the last 15 years or so, and some of us(myself)find ourselves suffering from Glutted Group Fatigue Syndrome, as it is, and enjoy the illuminations of Ramana or Nisargadatta without the necessity to turn to even more forums every day. If there was some question as to the quality of the quotes, that would be another matter. But in the context of nondual teaching, I find it difficult to fault the purity and intention of either Ramana or Nisargadatta. I enjoy your additions to this list, as I enjoy Glo's quotes from Hafiz, which are also readily available elsewhere. To me it's like cherry picking the best of other lists without having to wade through a lot of other material to access it. Guest guest
Eric, But were you in Bombay longer than the Simpsons has been on TV? Actually, I'm not sure if skill and authenticity matters, the familiar fake of Apu would be better recognized by Americans. Still, the one stop shopping concept was yours, so when the "Best of Satsang" tapes go on the market, we will be sure to give you credit somewhere in the fine print. No path goes nowhere. Paths, places, sights, perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of Awareness. Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It is Home. Home is where the Heart Is. Jnanis know the Heart to be the Finality of Eternal Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of Self-Knowledge, spontaneously arising from within into It Self.
