Imagination is a curious phenomena,

it can make one sick,

even to death.

It can provide vistas of incomparable

beauty in limitless expanse,

When coupled with discrimination

it invariably blinds one to the

abject uniformity of reality

and creates a disporsia

that results in suffering.

Realize that an old man

taking a diareic crap

in a dirty filling station rest room

in Hoboken has precisely

the same "spiritual" significance

as any other human act

since the beginning of time.

Becoming "One" with the universe

must ultimately have exactly as much to

do with what is falling in that bowl

as say, bathing in the brilliance
