Hi Mark,

I was on no mail for the day hiding from the viruses. Just came on and saw

that you are leaving. Best wishes Mark. Don't eat raw garlic with the fish.

Here is what I saw on the raw foods list about garlic from a Raw food

expert. Apparently Garlic can be very bad!

Rayek,

>Has anyone else come across this idea of garlic being toxic? Are

>there any scientific studies available on the subject??

I've been raw almost 9 years. For the first few years I was still

getting about 3-4 colds/year, about as many as I used to before raw. I

keep a daily journal of what I eat and experience. When I noticed that 5

out of the previous 6 colds began a day after eating garlic, stopped

eating garlic and onions, and the number of colds dropped to only 1/year

(with very mild symptoms).

Many people think garlic is great, but I think it's toxic too. As a rule

of thumb, if something doesn't taste delicious to you all by itself in

its raw, natural state, then it isn't food.

Hi Friends,

Thank you for letting me be a part of your elist conversations. I'm

about to log off the list because I'm leaving my apartment Friday and

I'll let the email address lapse, as it was really part of the job I

lost last August. (sheesh, I can't believe they let me keep using it so

long.)

I'm not sure where I'm bound, but I hope to converse with you again

someday. (Aw, heck, there's only one of it, so how could you get rid of

me?)

Until then, be well,

Mark

All paths go somewhere. No path goes nowhere. Paths, places, sights,

perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside

back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than

the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of Awareness.

Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It is Home. Home is

where the Heart Is. Jnanis know the Heart to be the Finality of Eternal

Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of Self-Knowledge, spontaneously

arising from within into It Self. Welcome all to a.
