You'll be baaaack, I trust, when the time is right! I'll miss your sweetness, candor, wit, humor, and good writing! Harsha, I have had toxic reactions from garlic as well. Although I don't have the longitudinal experience with and without garlic as was cited by Rayek, I have noticed over the last 2 years an effect sort of like an acid stomach, often with diarrhea as an aftereffect. I eat a lot of Chinese food, and must tell my friends not to include it. Restaurants too. ******************************************* Thank you for sharing Gregji and thanks for the website information Janji on the powers of garlic. My father still eats raw garlic and onions in his mid 70s. I used to really enjoy raw onions, especially the sweet vidala ones from Georgia. I remember eating them like a apples. But now, I just can't stomach onions raw. I could never really enjoy raw garlic. Cooked onions and garlic in food are OK for me though. By the way for anyone who is interested, it is a lot easier to lose weight on a predominantly raw vegetarian diet. My book, "Harsha's special weight loss plan" is almost done.
