Guest guest
Dear Jan, a state of deep absorption is quite common even among animals. In my book, this is not indicative of God-union. When my neighbor's dog is in heat, she can forget their nearest and dearest, forgets to eat, drink or go to the bathroom, lives for one thing only. That isn't much different from those musicians' behavior during their supposed "samadhi", is it? I agree that it is a matter of perception. If you cannot perceive the difference between Mick Jagger and Sri Ramana during his "cave period", what can I say? Take care, Michael -----Ursprungliche Nachricht----- Von: jb [kvy9] Gesendet: Monday, December 10, 2001 23:59 An: Betreff: Re: AW: Samadhi (was: Reincarnation) Not a matter of disagreement but one of perception. Even Purohit Swami mentions that musicians can forget their nearest and dearest, forget to eat, drink or go to the bathroom, live for music only.
