Guest guest
Dearest Vicki, I noticed that I was missing quite a few of your posts... You see, I collect (using Outlook's Rules Wizard) all your postings re: "Ramana quotes" in a special folder...and what happened was that some of your non-Ramana posts got mixed in with them... so I did not spot them... So I lost track of some threads in the conversations. Just be sure that I always appreciate your posts very much and especially your quotes of Ramana. I'm just now picking up on some of your posts that I missed... Re: Gabriel, God/Man, God's Man, Man of God: It is interesting, according to tradition, that it was the angel Gabriel who announced (or was somehow involved in) the birth of Jesus (God the Saviour) or Emmanuel to the virgin Mary. Emmanuel traditionally means "God is with us.Us" being "mankind" or better "humankind"! Theologically Jesus is seen as God/Man. There is a lady professor from Australia (?) Thierry (I cannot exactly remember her name and the title of her book right now) who wrote a very interesting book that explained the role of the high-priest as angel in early Judeo Christian tradition (she got very much maligned by more orthodox writers). Re: my >>>"As long as one is convinced that one has a special and personal reason to hold on to one's difficulties, one will not recover one's innate freedom." If you need to..., surrender to the 'pissing pole' :-) It is the hardest, but it is also the end of it... Without it, there is no surrender whatsoever...only a semblance...<<< And your question: >>>May i ask you whom you sent to that place you sent ? <<< It was not intended for you or anybody... or hmmm ???, :-)))) actually... it was intended for everybody... I actually referred to a Ramana quote where he mentioned a common "stone". (Cannot find the quote right now.) I just wanted to make it more graphic... to get to the essence of surrender... It is easy to consider a stone... recognize God or Self in it... But can we do it with someone or something we have trouble with? So many people of "very good intent" still carry so many chips on their shoulder. Ideas that they hold very dear... but ideas that are in fact based on 'lack of love', 'not seeing the whole picture', having some 'difficulty'.... and then some wonder how come 'moksha' does not 'kick in' with them fully... how come they still have ups an downs..., etc... The expression "pissing pole" comes from the Dutch "pispaaltje" someone who always gets the 'p..d upon'. >>> whether it is me or somebody else , you sent him/her with all your "Love," <<< When fully surrendered..., when the self is rendered as well, one is in the steady state of dynamic love... it is irreversible... >>> is this serious ? is this a game ? is this a joke ? is this you thinking this way ? sincerely wishing to understand , as of course i begin to wonder again whether my place is still here as long as i see no connection between Ramana's teachings and your answer <<< There is no difference between me and Ramana and you and anybody... We are all equally connected in the heart of love... We only have to rediscover it, then will we recover and reclaim that innate steady state of love. Vicki, you stick with the list here, OK... and more quotes please. Were you bitten by the Alton bug ? :-) Love you Vicki, Wim. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
