There is nothing wrong with being skeptical when faced with exorbitant claims. If we believed everything we were told by people about themselves, we'd be living in a world of witches and wizards, devils and saints. I haven't seen this aura machine in action, but the idea of it sounds silly. There are alternative explanations for its apparent efficacy, including (dare I say it?) Wim's intuitional abilities and the suggestibility of those it is demonstrated for. However, to state that he is in communication with Ramana, and that Wim has been sanctioned by Ramana to tell us about Wim's siddhis, is abhorrent and ridiculous. I understand completely and identify with Harsha's criticism. As a teacher and knower of the Self, he cannot but help to recoil from talk of siddhis and communication with dead people, especially a soul such as Ramana, who barely existed as an individual in life, let alone in death. In this light Harsha's actions are completely understandable. > But oh well, do as you must, say as you must... For I surely will... > > People criticize that which they dont understand.... Guest guest
Well, Jody, all I can say, is who is in whom's shoes? We each deal with things, based on our past experiences... Recoil if one must, but be aware that in the recoiling, one might be missing something about themselves. Can you speak from experience Jody? Or only from skeptism? Do you know Wim, or do you know Ramana? Have you seen the machine, have you experienced the machine? Have you spoke to the dead? Or walked among the spirits? Or do you believe such things are not possible? I know wim, I do not know Ramana, I have seen the machine, and used the machine... And regardless of your skeptism, to count my experiences and my knowing as negative or convenient or silly, well.... Is to basically call me a liar. And I dont really think that was your intent, or was it Jody? No path goes nowhere. Paths, places, sights, perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of Awareness. Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It is Home. Home is where the Heart Is. Jnanis know the Heart to be the Finality of Eternal Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of Self-Knowledge, spontaneously arising from within into It Self.
