Guest guest
For you TG..... A regular every day poem, about early mornings.... Nothing special, but a part of my every school day. LOL... As The Clock Watches The busy clock bears witness to my day As a smiling poem, he seems to say, "Wake up, wake up lets begin anew There is so much that you need to do". Wearily, I climb from my bed Not quite alive, yet not quite dead Stumbling forth, lights still low Oh, I forget.... Where to go? Sleepily, I rub my eyes Cat attack ~ Surprise! "Breakfast time," she says. "A little more cream," she begs. Children up and on their way Bus arriving...... always late One minute to spare, rushed they go Littliest one, still so slow. Singing little clock, tick... tock.... Give me a rock. Only up one quick hour I should be in the shower Yawning over a coffee cup, Wondering if I shall wake up One hour down, sixteen to go Think I'll go back to bed.......... too tired you know. Love, Lynette Now if we can get ourself to take karate and gymnastics! Where'd I put that remote? Rofl... Actually I've been hunting for a Tai Chi class for myself..... Sounds like fun... But dang it. None to be had nearby. Have a wonderful new Rumi book, very nice and thick, maybe I'll have time totype of some of his words to share? Okay by me... I love his words. Looking forward to hearing them. As soon as I get a moment, I'll type some up.. You have a wonderful new year as well TG
