It seems like according to this concept, enlightenment can reside in a person. it somehow involves abilities that most people don't have. Many people call these abilities siddhis. Going along with this notion of enlightenment as I've vaguely sketched it, two interesting questions suggest themselves. 1. Can people have siddhis and not be enlightened? 2. Can people be enlightened and not have siddhis? Part of the discussion on this thread has answered both these questions YES. If you'd go along with a YES answer, then what's so special about siddhis?? If you wouldn't go along with a YES answer, then why not??
