Guest guest Posted January 7, 2002 Report Share Posted January 7, 2002 In my line of work, there are days when I visit classrooms and watch little four year olds learning to do lots of things....One of them is to cut and paste...It is, supposedly, a way of helping them strengthen their fine motor skills...I watch and observe them having no fear of expression...none whatsoever......and so....their final products are ones of their own creation.... no two ever look exactly alike...And then I watch the art of cutting and pasting here....and I see how sad it is that the final product is always made from the words spoken by others...almost as if the ability to speak has withered away over the years...
