Guest guest
This is what Muruganar told Sri Sadhu Om about what he experienced when he came to Sri Ramana: "I had not only heard of Sri Bhagavan before coming to Him, I had also read some of His works. Therefore I had already decided that he alone should be my Guru. I was simply sitting in His presence. I did not see any vision or such things at that time, nor did I like to have any such experience. I was confident that even the mere Presence of this great Sadguru would do everything for me." Sri Muruganar continued: "Be not disheartened. No mediator is necessary for us in order to obtain the light of his Grace. It is certain that Sri Bhagavan, the Ocean of Grace of his own accord and without the intercession or interference of anyone else directly contacts the heart of each one who comes to him." (Michael James: Sri Muruganar in: The Mountain Path, 1982, p. 241) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Guest guest
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing Gabriele. The Sage of Arunachala shines like the Sun on us. Have been busy with family activities and spending most of the time taking care of little Mira. She is a great wonder and a joy. When was Sri Ramana born? I am checking the mail on the web periodically until January 19. I thank the moderators for their help. Guest guest
Or he would simply say: 30.12.1879 "To rescue me - born of virtuos Sundara and Sundari in the holy town of Tiruchuli , seat of Bhuminathesvara - from this barren worldly life , He raised me to His state , that His Heart might so rejoice , the immanence of Siva so shine forth , and the Self flourish. Guest guest
....ah yes...this is my experience and this is my what my practice teaches me....as i genuflect at her feet my beloved raises me ever higher into the expanding brilliance of infinite love....just as pride or contempt rests in the left hand of Compassion, so does humility or empathy rest in her right....as we journey into the empty cave of the sacred heart of the beloved we discover that humility it the antithesis of contempt and in balancing each are reconciled, so united together they arise into a manifestation of higher love that is my beloved.....love is both the center and the perimeter of the expanding circle.....gassho......^^~~~~~ the lyric circle "The lover turns away from everything except God." -SkyeRyder beloved, my dark one as i am, even still becoming still nothing stillness kissing stillness something still becoming even still, so i am your bright child, beloved lover turning toward lover each returning to the center both rippling on the subtle edge the lyric circle spinning fades all into singular brilliance still dissolving into nothing i kneel to you beyond my reach a warrior turning home to rest still turning, turning still i come, dark one, i come further up and further in, white wolfe > Or he would simply say: 30.12.1879> "To rescue me - born of virtuos Sundara and Sundari in the holy > town of Tiruchuli , seat of Bhuminathesvara - from this barren> worldly life , He raised me to His state , that His Heart might> so rejoice , the immanence of Siva so shine forth , and the > Self flourish. Paths, places, sights, perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of Awareness. Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It is Home. Home is where the Heart Is. Jnanis know the Heart to be the Finality of Eternal Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of Self-Knowledge, spontaneously arising from within into It Self.
