When the cat is crying for food, optimal feline functioning is (at

least briefly) the issue ;-).

Something i know well.. An animal and a newborn

cannot temporarily "forget" urges like hunger or thirst:

they are overpowering. So when arriving home in the evening,

the dog gets a snack before i eat and that goes for the

cat too if she shows up :) Only that transforms abandoned

pets into reliable friends :)
