Dear Friends,

Hope you are all in good health and good spirits. When

I came back today, I realized that my @home e-mail

address has been bouncing messages like crazy for

about 4 weeks. My current ISP will go out of business

in about a month and so I will be using my

account for a while.

I tried to scan HS messages on the web but probably

missed many important ones. I am delighted to see

Gabriel, Vicki, and Gloria, continue with quotes from

Sri Ramana.

I am also glad that the recent controversy has quieted

down. We need to keep in mind the background theme of

mutual respect and understanding in our interactions

here and engage in reasonably mature behavior at least

most of the times.

Here is an example of behavior that I feel does not

belong on the list. In the past, we have had a member

on a few occasions post publicly, private

conversations in order to give more strength to his

argument. Such methods of making points rarely work as

they are undermined by their lack of foundation in

ethical behavior. Posting publicly, a private

discussion or a conversation, mentioning names, is in

bad taste and shows poor judgment.

Most of us have little difficulty meeting the basic

standards of good manners and common courtesy directed

towards our fellow sanghis.

Gregji had once posted something on netiquette which

may be worth repeating if Greg can find it.

I wish you all well.

There is no delight like that which comes naturally

from giving love and respect to others.

Love to all

Harsha

Thanks Vicki,

Nice to see you and Gabriele posting Sri Ramana

quotes.

Any recommendations about what we should put on HS

magazine about Sri Ramana for the next issue. Would

you or Vicki (or Mike or Mazie on Swami Yogananda)

like to submit something?

Let me know

Love to all

Dearest Harshaji,

Happy greetings at your return! Stretching languidly and breathing

deeply is quite easy now that you're among us again. This is no back-

slapping, just an ease with your presence here. Indeed, I would like

to share something about my Gurudeva at the magazine. I'll look

around and see what pops up. Lucky for us SRF devotees there's a

wealth of written and spoken material to garner information from

about Sri Yoganandaji. Thank you for this opportunity. How soon do

you need it? Right off? Mike has some wonderful stories to tell about

him. Maybe we can find something special about his visit with Sri

Bhagavan.

Love,

Mazie

Dear Harsha, welcome back!

Thinking for something for HS magazine the aspect of the silent

teaching came in my mind, because it is very unique and absolutly

rare. If somebody would ask me, why Ramana and no other Guru, I would

say: mainly because of the power of his silent teaching. This is only

a suggestion - but I don't feel fit to write anything - not only

because of my poor English.

Gabriele, where there is the Heart, Love, and Truth,

the words automatically follow.

Even broken words become music for a devotee of

Bhagwan who sees only the space of awareness and love

unspoken between the words, in the words, and around

the words.

Your english is the most wonderful english for me!

Harsha

Thank you, Harsha for your warmth and encouragement. It is not so

much because of the broken words but it is not ripened enough to

speak about such a demanding "subject". The bottom of the silence is

not yet reached. This I say not because I am humble but only because

it is the simple truth. - Perhaps I dare to do it later. But now it

is too early.

But I would like to hear something about it from your experience - if

you feel you would like to speak about - and if time allows. There is

no hurry.

Harshaji & Friends,

Harshaji. Nice to have you back. I hope yours time with your family

was relaxing and enjoyable. I've been holding off bringing up some

subjects until you were back with us again.

The first is a suggestion about HS Magazine. As there are quite a few

nondualism/spirituality/kundalini magazines presented by various

related forums, and because all of them seem to have to stretch to

come up with enough original material every 3 or 4 months, it's

occured to me that if you (Harsha) got together with Jerry, Gene and

other interested nondual etc. list owners and editors, you could

probably put together a dynamic, enjoyable and ORIGINAL magazine as

often as every 1 or 2 months.

Wouldn't everybody benefit from this? All the readers would benefit

from access to much more high quality material in one place, and they

would get to do it more frequently. Important subjects would inspire

conversation on a group of related sites relative to one subject at a

time, thus providing us a broader base and deeper interest from more

concerned readers. A Common magazine would be an obvious improvement

on quality from each of the individual mags, and would undoubtedly

begin to develope a larger audience as word of such a quality

offering would spread across the web to other forumites with a less

intense but still evident interest...and of course, quality tends to

call to and reach towards MORE quality, suggesting we consider the

logical anomaly...can Nonduality be synergistic?

Let me add, that with regards to material that might not make the

cut, but holding genuine relevance for any particular list, it can

always be included in that list's posting of the Common Big (or

bigger)Magazine.

What do you think, Harsha? What do the rest of you think? I'll post

this same idea on the rest of the sites that I'm familiar with

tomorrow or the next day, providing that one or some of you don't

come up with "a discouraging word" to suggest that nondual subjects

continue to "range" a little closer to "home".

yours in the bonds,

eric

I love your idea Eric. Convincing Jerry and Gene may

be another thing though!
