Guest guest
Dear Harsha, thank you for your personal story. If we have no comfort in love, then we have no comfort in ourselves- in God. There is so much to learn about this love, so much to unlearn. I guess we only surrender after were beaten. Yet that is probably the best and right time. Anyway that was my experience. A big ditto on all that Linda said and what Lynette says below. Going to add you all to my list of people to learn from. You are already on my love list! love eric. Beautifully stated Harsha, In my own experiences, with love, there has been many times, when I pushed it aside in an attempt to "find comfort" Actually finding comfort in closing my heart.... How can I say that? woundedness, and pain stemming from a perceived absence of love. When kundalini began, and all the talk about "attachments" was pushed onto me. It was so easy to say "Ok, give up love, its an attachment.. I dont need it anyways.. It doesnt exist... Its an unreal need... Its all mental. Decidedly deciding that needs were things to overcome, I allowed myself to attempt to grow shut off from my needs. Only to discover, that that in itself was an illusion {Not the growth, we can still grow and be in pain... But the illusion of happiness without love}... For love was all around me, and needs only become more painful when they are not allowed to be expressed... So love expressed, needs fulfilled, actually lightens a human being... Clarifies reality.... One's true self comes out to play when through all the muddy muck , love is acknowledged... your story of the woman, so lovely.... I have a clue, that perhaps at the time she was wiser than you, and perhaps she followed her heart... And found love. For without that, all the meditation in the world would not have given her what she needed. And anyone that wants to step in here and pooh this, well, go ahead, but let me remind you..... The experience is mine, not from a book, not from a donkey's mouth, not from some concept or perception. Just from me, my life, my experience, my truth... And I've been happier than I have ever been when I acknowledged love. Love and Grace Lynette To find comfort > We know the world through the mind. Guest guest
We know the world through the mind. Sri Ramana used to say that mind is a wonderful power that arises from the Self and makes all this visible. the conscious mind is a manifestation of the Kundalini Shakti, the storehouse of all impressions. Ultimately, Mind, Kundalini, Shakti, Maya, all these mean the same thing. Jnana makes us aware that the rising of (Mind, Maya, Shakti)has a Source which is complete in It Self, the pure Sat-Chit-Ananda. The Pure Joy without a trace of longing. It is because of the presence of Sat-Chit-Ananda at the core of our being, the whole world is starving for love, love or Ananda being the root nature. In one way or another, we seek this Ananda or Love. It powerfully affects us as human beings. I remember being at a retreat over 20 years ago and talking to this woman in her 60s. She was divorced and actively looking for a man. I advised her to forget about men and finding love and all that and focus on meditation and Self-Realization and be free. I remember the pained look on her face and she said, " But I really need to have a man in my life." I should have apologized to her right away for suggesting that she forget about finding love. I was such a fool then. Love to all Harsha ===== /join Send FREE video emails in Mail! http://promo./videomail/
Guest guest
Hello Harsha: Sometimes it appears that the newly 'liberated' is as self-assured as the teen who knows it all. Just as the teen can disregard the thoughts of others safe in his secure 'family backed-up' world the newly enthusiastic spiritual seeker can know it all because the beliefs have not necessarily been tested outside of whatever structure contains the teachings. I guess many of us have been fools in our teens and fools in our early search :-). All knowledge and theory is meaningless until it is lived with as one walks through this journey we call life. Accepting and rejoicing in love is part of our journey as humans. At least in my humble opinion. Love, Linda >It is because of the presence of Sat-Chit-Ananda at>the core of our being, the whole world is starving for>love, love or Ananda being the root nature. All in its own time. For some it is a need to complement the separation of the sexes. If her karma was different it wouldn't drive her in that direction so. Sat-chit-ananda-Saguna Brahman. Yes there is only one mind the Mahat, etc. The Saguna/Sakti/May-- projects it, and we have a local consciousness in it, like whirlpools in the ocean.....Om Sakti..Saktidass.
