Guest guest
The sensation of what is called, "love," is a funny thing....It is perceived and then experienced in many ways...It stems from need...to be heard...to be touched....to be wanted....to be included.... etc...all things that are felt as a lack of..an incompleteness.......and so when any of those things are done by one for another....it is felt as "love" in the way that "love" has been learned by projection and then yearned for....But what isn't always known is that while there is a conscious passing back and forth of this thing thought of as, "love"....all that is really happening are needs being thrown back and forth like boomerangs...needs that are looking for fulfillment......The irony and even sadness comes from no one ever teaching us that what has been looked for...what has been searched for, resides within first and then without...as all things do....I doubt that the word, "love", will ever be deleted from language...But perhaps one day...new meaning can be given to it...and then shared and spread as it has never been done before... Guest guest
Hi Norma, indeed, love is the most misused word in any language. Yet a word is but a symbol. If love is confused with need, then there is lack felt, and the desire to be 'loved'. Love can never be lack, for it is all. It is infinite fullness. If there is 'need', there is no love felt, only a counterfeit substitute. I rather like the word 'respect'. Yet this to, is little understood. love eric.
