have been enjoying this list from the sidelines, and particularly enjoy the

loving feelings which are prevalent and the harmonious community which

you have managed to create. This tone has obviously not come about by

accident. And so I can understand why you might rather avoid having

the list become the locus for interpersonal squabbles carried over from

other forums. But why say: "I'm not sure if anyone

cares"? My guess is that you have as decent and caring a group out

here as can be found on planet earth. I myself had some personal

questions about personalities which intrigued me. I did manage

to refrain from broadcasting them on a list, thinking they might be more

discreetly taken up in private correspondence. But I see nothing intrinsically

wrong with my questions or jb's.

there is nothing intrinsically wrong with questions being asked about

personalities on these lists. It’s just that the list has a long history and in

that context many of these problems have come up before and we have devised

strategies to address them and resolve them. Gloria, in her role as a

moderator, was pretty clear with JB regarding his post. I support what Gloria

said.
