There is no offense,

There is no grief,

but what you see in yourself is not my belief.

This self hate that mocks you

and drives you to lash

the world and its back,

returns to flay you

with all that you know and believe you lack.

Such projection of disaffection

undoes you most foolishly my dear.

Your place is not enlightenment

but the undoing of that fear.

Nothing is right in your sight

until you love the being of you,

and see that being in what others say and do.

Love must be born in the manger of self

or this self hate will be your disrupting attack

upon all that you see,

and what you see, will fly back.
